1. The stallion service fee is________.
Booking fee of_______(included in breeding fee).Payable in full
before semen will be shipped. A copy of the mares papers front
and back must accompany this contract. Chute Fee_________.
2. A collection and lab fee of $250
will be charged on the first shipment, which includes the shipping costs and a Bio-Flight
disposable container. (Price is subject to change if costs increase). This is payable in
full by the mare owner before any semen is shipped. Counter to counter is
-To Be Determined. Any further shipments are $250 each. The semen is for the designated mare
only.
3. Semen must be ordered by the mare
owner by

be shipped Federal Express Overnight delivery. Any special deliveries and counter to
counter/ flight charges will be paid in full in advance by the mare owner.
5. Mare owner is responsible for having
a certified veterinarian or experienced breeding technician inseminate the mare and
complete all required forms and return them to Susan Fox, Foxhill
Farm and to the APHC, APHA, &AQHA in the required time frame.
6. Mare owner is responsible for
pregnancy checking on or before 18 days after breeding and notification to Foxhill Farm of the results.
7. The stallion service fee on
transported semen is non-refundable, however Foxhill Farm/Susan Fox does guarantee a “live foal
guarantee”. “Live foal” is defined as a foal that stands and nurses without
assistance after foaling. If the contracted mare does not settle or aborts the first year Foxhill Farm/Susan Fox will ship the following year to that mare or
an approved substitute mare. If that mare does not settle then Foxhill
Farm/ Susan Fox will only honor an “on premise” breeding, meaning the mare must be delivered
to the farm for breeding. Failure to do so will release Foxhill
Farm /Susan Foxfrom any further obligation and there will be
no refunds or rebreeds for above mentioned mare owner.
8. Mare owner will complete and sign
this contract, enclose applicable fees, copy of registration papers and return them to Foxhill Farm/ Susan Fox. It will be a binding contract on both
parties subject to the above terms and conditions. This contract is non-transferable or
assignable.
9. If the stallion dies or becomes
unfit for service and the mare has not produed a foal in the 2
year "live foal" time frame all fees but the paid booking fee will be refunded to
the mare owner.
